MEET MRS. BACCOMO
Hello and welcome! I’m Emily Baccomo, the librarian here at LEMS. With 14 years in education, I’m excited for the new school year and all it has to offer π.
Originally from Winnsboro, S.C., I graduated from Clemson University in 2009 with a degree in Elementary Educationπ. After returning to my hometown, I taught 4th through 6th grades with a focus on math and science βοΈ. In 2012, I earned a Master’s in Education from Columbia College, and in 2019, I completed a Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina π. My enthusiasm for learning and technology motivates me to stay up-to-date with new developments and share them with students and colleagues alike π‘.
I live in Lugoff with my husband, Jason, and our two sons, Jay and Ben π¨π©π¦π¦. Our busy household includes five dogs—Lilly, Toby, Ollie, Sasha, and Chase πΆ—as well as a cat named Tiger π±. When I’m not at school, you can usually find me at a soccer field β½οΈ. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, baking π°, reading π, exercising πβοΈ, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers π―. I also love taking evening golf cart rides as a family.
I’m looking forward to a wonderful year and can’t wait to see you in the library soon!
