Assistant Principal

I am thrilled to be a part of the Lugoff Elgin Middle School family. I have had 16 years of experience in education, and hope to be able to share my passion for learning and teaching with the LEMS community.

I began my journey as a high school Biology teacher at Brooklyn's Cayce High School in West Columbia in 2008. In 2015, I transitioned to Lugoff, where I balanced running a horse farm with my role as an educator. My love for science and animals truly shines through at the farm.

After moving to Lugoff with my family, I joined Lugoff Elgin High School in the fall of 2015. After dedicating four years there, I took on the role of assistant principal at Stover Middle School. With my twin daughters now graduates of LEHS and heading off to college, I am  excited to continue my journey by joining the LEMS family as their assistant principal.
